PRLog - Aug. 27, 2014 - LONG ISLAND, N.Y. -- Venus International Productions (VIP), and its organizers are elated to announce the 3rd annual Haitian Labor Day Festival to be held from 12:00pm till 11:00pm on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Lakeside Theater at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York. For this year’s LABOR DAY FEST edition its organizers have created a platform where you will find a diversifying array of musical talents from bands on the cusp; bands that are continuously on the rise and veteran-bands. The stars lined-up for this year include: Klass, Dola Mizik, Karizma, T-Vice, Cruz La, Tabou Combo, dISIP de Gazzman Couleur, CaRiMi, Djakout#1, Nu-Look and a special performance by the Zombies of Brooklyn best known as Phantoms.

Along with the great music and entertainment, festival-goers will get the complete Haitian Carnival experience from the exquisite taste of the large variety of traditional Haitian cuisine which will be provided by our vendors. Don't be left out of what promises to be a wonderful day of cultural pride, celebration, great music, tasty food and plenty of activities for the entire family.
A press conference announcing the final details and addressing any questions the media may have about the LABOR DAY FEST will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Tonél Restaurant and Lounge located at 1236 Rogers Avenue in Brooklyn from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Host by Papa Jube the scheduled speakers are as follows: Founder of the LABOR DAY FEST, and Venus International Productions, Urbain Richard and its organizers. Also on the panel will be many of the LABOR DAY FEST 2014 performing artists. Refreshments will be served.
Media Accreditation will be handed out during the press conference. If you’re not able to pick up your press pass at the press conference, the only other available day to pick it up will be on Saturday at Eisenhower Park, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Tickets for the 3rd Annual LABOR DAY FEST and all of its surrounding events are now on sale online at our authorized ticket agents and www.labordayfest.eventbrite.com. Please use precaution when purchasing your event tickets by using one of our authorized ticket agents or by purchasing your tickets online. Counterfeit ticket(s) will not be honored NO EXCEPTIONS.
Admission: $30 in advance for adults; ages 12 to 17 is $15. Kids under age 12 are FREE. See you there!
