Cooperation in Dragon Age: Inquisition

Aug. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- There is no surprise – after success of multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 3, BioWare decided to let the players to fight together once more in upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition. IGN service released some information, how multiplayer will look like.

Cooperation in famous RPG game, planned to ba available in October, will not have any influence in the main campaign. This is a separate mode, which was used by the developers for testing some aspects of the game, implemented to the main story afterwards. Multiplayer system is not gonna change the ending of the game in single player mode. BioWare apparently learned a lesson 2 years ago.

In exchange we will get 12 members of inquisition and with our 3 friends we will be able to complete many half-our missions. Our main task will be to explore 5 locations, randomly generated with every new attempt, gather some items scattered somewhere in terrain and gain as much gold as we can, that will be divided for every party member. Gold is needed to buy the chests available at the end of every multiplayer mission. Inside we will find some items for our heros, new recipes and elixirs. Maybe even we will find some new outlook or character. Off course if someone is more inpatient, all that will be available to buy it all for real money. However there will be no exclusive content or items for real money and everything in the game will have its price in traditional gold.

Gameplay in cooperation mode is gonna be faster (there will be no tactical view), but good strategy will also be needed. Every character will be able to advance to 20^th experience level. There are some missions for society planned as well , such us killing 1 million monster in 1 week.

Cooperation mode will be start at the same time as main game, but with less locations and characters. However BioWare is about to add some new content. As the creators say, multiplayer mode is under constructions for 2 years and it is built by the same crew that made Mass Effect 3, so it should be enough to give players some satisfactory gameplay in between reliving complicated story in main campaign. We'll see about that in 18^th of October, when Dragon Age: Inquisition will be finally released on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
