Follow on Google News | Charity Album for Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter Is ReleasedA new charity album featuring sixteen songs from several Rockford, Illinois area musicians has been released. All profits from the album go directly to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary.
By: Gary Hill PR Noah's Ark Pet Sanctuary was founded and incorporated as an Illinois Non-Profit corporation in 1978 by a small group of residents who care about animals. One of their goals is to educate the public on the proper care and population control of domestic dogs and cats. They take in stray and owner surrender cats and dogs. Once at the sanctuary the animals receive proper medical care and are put up for adoption into qualified homes for a nominal fee. In a review at Music Street Journal, Jason Hillenburg said of the album, “Charity albums, unfortunately, can often mean well, but lack any sort of lasting musical value. Artists dig up previously discarded tracks, others rehash well-known material, but this album forgets to tread water in the musical quality. Instead, this impressive assortment of musicians offers the listener a wide variety of material that, irrespective of genre, sounds fresh and motivated.” Giving the disc four stars (of five) at Music Emissions (musicemissions.com) The Rockford area musicians featured on the album are: Casey Carl Bunge, Clark Colborn, Paul Hieser, G.W. Hill, Sean Huguenin, Kris Orendorff, P-H-M with Wade Lammon and Sonicbloom. The cover and other packaging was designed by Eric Meli and features photographs by Meli, G.W. Hill and Kris Orendorff. End
