Techmor has just introduced the AC-1-4, a rugged and compact voltage measurement module featuring the same high performance analog front-end and A/D conversion as the critically acclaimed Techmor AC-1. Four 0-5v analog inputs and 1-Mbit Bus rate with programmable CAN IDs give the AC-1-4 tremendous capability and value. With CNC aluminum and carbon fiber construction the AC-1-4 was designed to handle the extreme environments found in motorsports applications and general R&D. The Techmor AC-1-4 retails for $395. For specifications see http://www.techmor.com/
The CAN bus began as an automotive bus, and has expanded to land, sea and air communications, with uses in manufacturing and R&D labs.
The Techmor AC-1-4 reads 4 channels of 0-5V analog voltage signals and outputs CAN Bus messages. Connects any 0-5V sensor, including temperature, pressure, position and more. The AC-1-4 can be used as a remote input node, or with a LINC Bridge to stream data to an Android device. Use on vehicles, test rigs, and anywhere measurements are made.
