Local Author Rose Gordy Book Signing at Wisp Resort - August 9, 2014

Rose Gordy will be in the Lounge next to DC's Restaurant from 2-5pm signing copies of her books "The Ladies Baltimore," "Unsettled Lives" and "Into The Green Unknown," as well as her newest publication, "Stairs to the Attic - A Collection of Poetry."

Author and dream counselor Rose Gordy spent thirteen years of her early life as a nun effectively cut off from the world. In spite of the conditions within the Church, she managed to leave and make a life for herself including getting married and having three sons. Through her experiences in the convent as well as decades of teaching in the classroom, she has woven compelling stories and poems honoring the lives lost and changed forever by adversity. Her latest book, "Stairs to the Attic," is a collection of poetry down to earth yet otherworldly, a book which instinctually eschews the conventional.
