Follow on Google News | Triple Color LED Ring Light From Aven Enhances ContrastIn addition to a choice of red, blue or white lighting, a seven-step brightness control also assures ideal intensity for various microscopy applications.
By: Aven, Inc. The new microscope accessory with 120 LEDs lets operators select red, blue or white illumination to create contrast when examining parts, circuit boards, finished products or specimens. If standard white diodes wash out any areas, a mode switch to one of the color alternatives will enhance the features. A seven-step brightness control also allows ideal intensity for various applications, assuring accuracy and crisp imaging. “Low-temperature, shadow-free LEDs are the best choice for microscopy lighting,” says Aven president Mike Shahpurwala. “We add this first multi-color model to provide flexibility for labs, research and manufacturing.” The fixture, which mounts easily below the lens on four series of Aven microscopes, has 40 LEDs in each color. Its working distance is 100 millimeters (four inches). The long-lasting, flicker-free LEDs are rated to work for at least 20,000 hours. A ring light adapter is included. Aven also offers seven other LED ring light models and two fiber-optic ring lights. For more information, call (734) 973-0099. A digital catalog is at www.aventools.com/ End
