"We’re ecstatic to have the support of an iconic brand such as Reynolds,” said Linda Jackson, director sportif of Team TIBCO. “Without sponsors like Reynolds, this sport and this team would not be where they are today. It’s an honor to be a part of a landmark moment for women’s racing, especially at the Tour of Utah in Reynolds’ backyard.”
Overall team winner of the USA Cycling National Racing Calendar, Team TIBCO consists of overall individual women’s NRC winner Lauren Robertson as well as Krista Doebel-Hickok, Lauren Stephens, Patricia Schwager, Sara Headley, Sam Schneider and Skylar Schneider.
“In order for women’s cycling and its audience to grow, an investment needs to be made by the industry,” said Rob Aguero, key account and OEM sales manager for Reynolds. “We’re proud to make that investment.”
The team will be on site at the Reynolds booth near the start at Miller Motorsports Park in Toole, UT, signing posters from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. the day of the race.
The first women’s race in the Tour of Utah’s 10-year history begins Wednesday, August 6 at 1 p.m. The race will feature professional and elite women’s teams competing on the Stage 3 finishing circuit, a 15-lap race on the 2.2-mile course.
