Caribbean medical school - Avalon University had a guest lecture on Emergency Medical Techniques in the Anatomy Lab
 
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - July 31, 2014 - PRLog -- On Friday July 18th, the Emergency Medical Techniques Club at Caribbean Medical School -Avalon visit us http://www.avalonu.org/blog, was pleased to welcome back Dr Kaja Konieczny as a guest lecturer for the second time.
Dr. Kaja Konieczny, a cardiology fellow in Toronto, Canada, previously visited and taught Avalon Students how to properly insert chest tubes in a hands-on workshop inside Avalon’s Anatomy lab. For her returning visit, she lectured about her experience as an Internal Medicine Fellowship/Resident in Toronto and provided critical insight into resident life and Internal Medicine as a whole.

The Emergency Medical Techniques Club has been fortunate enough to have had many guest speakers throughout their founding year, including Dr. Joel Woodley-Cook, an interventional radiologist in Toronto, Canada who taught Avalon students how to properly read MRI, X-Ray, and CT scans while explaining the daily procedures he performs, as well as Dr. Oleg Klipitch, a general practitioner from Toronto, Canada, who provided insight into the world of family medicine and gave club members much advice regarding their pursuit of a medical career.
