Ultra-Soft TPE for High-tech Designs

ROMULUS, Mich. - July 29, 2014 - PRLog -- APS Elastomers offers thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) that are a superior choice for applications needing soft TPEs that process easily, require a soft touch and ergonomic feel. Many grades are FDA compliant, UV stable, RoHS and California Proposition 65 compliant. Durable and easy to color, they exhibit excellent cold weather resistance and provide a good surface finish to molded products and have high impact resistance, as well as resistant to a majority of chemicals and oils.

Available in Shore A hardness ranges of 25, 40, 50 and 65, the grades are specifically formulated for overmolding or coextruding onto thermoplastic.  Their ultra-soft, rubber-like texture can be injection molded, extruded, blow molded or compounded; meeting demanding requirements of high-tech TPE designs.
