Cisco 3560 switch password recovery

NEW CITY, N.Y. - July 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Step one:Restart the switch

Step two:Configuration
1）Power up the 3560 after pressing the MODE key.

2）Select the first item of “flash_init” on the menu that appears.

system software:
   flash_init
   load_helper
   boot
switch:flash_init
switch:load_helper

3）Rename the “flash: config.text” file
switch: ren flash:config.text flash:config.old

4）Reboot the switch
switch: boot

5）When you are asked whether to configure or not, select NO. (Because the configuration file of the “config.text” can not be found).
Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]:no

6）The password is not needed when you log in from privileged mode to user mode.
Switch>en
Switch#

7）Restore the configuration file renamed just now.
Switch#ren flash:config.old flash:config.text
Destination filename [config.text]?          Directly enter

8）Replace the previous configuration file with the current configuration file.
Switch#copy flash:config.text system:running-config
Destination filename [running-config]?        Directly enter

9）Modify the password
Switch#conf t
switch(config)#enable secret cisco

10) Save the password and complete the password modification.
switch#wr   Or  copy running-config starting-config
