EDC-VC launches an enhanced website

CAMARILLO, Calif. - July 23, 2014 - PRLog -- To ensure that businesses leaders can easily and efficiently access the latest information to help their companies grow, the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County has introduced a new website. The site, www.edc-vc.com, has a fresh, clean layout and features a number of enhancements. It was designed to work better with mobile technology, for improved viewing on tablets and smartphones, and to connect more readily with social media platforms.

The site also features an integrated blog to share timely news and business resources through EDC-VC’s Small Business Development Center.

“We worked with SBDC advisor David Pollock to develop a website that would fulfill the needs of a wide range of businesses—whether they’re manufacturers, restaurants or exporters—and be a robust source of information that guides them to achieving the next steps in their business plans,” said Bruce Stenslie, EDC-VC’s president and CEO.

Stratosphere Marketing Solutions developed the site based on input from key members of EDC-VC’s board and SBDC advisors who provide business assistance and training to area clients.

There are also plans underway for the new website to incorporate online workshops and to have an e-store with staff-approved business books.
