Access 2 Drive, located at Flatbush Avenue and East 26 Street, is a New York State licensed driving school that provides high quality driver training for teenage and adult students. They provide comprehensive training that prepares students to be proficient, safe and courteous drivers.
With locations servicing Kings County, Queens County and Nassau County in New York, the school offers a range of courses and licenses, from standard drivers licenses to motorcycle licenses and CDLs.
The school is easily accessible to clients coming from Canarsie, East Flatbush, Flatlands, Sheepshead Bay, Park Slope and Crown Heights.
Access 2 Drive’s Class B-P CDL Bus Training course is offered year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. Training is designed to prepare Access2Drive graduates to become professional entry-level commercial Bus (Class B-P) drivers. The Class B-P Commercial Driver’s Course is a 1-hour bus lesson that can be taken during the day, in the evening or on weekends.
Normally Access 2 Drive’s CDL training course consists of driving in training areas that include combinations of city, and heavy traffic areas, with a strong emphasis on defensive driving. Endorsements, codes and safety requirements are covered in the class, which also addresses air brakes, passenger and school busses.
The CDL class prepares students for their commercial permit. With the right endorsements, class B-P Commercial License holders can operate most commercial vehicles, except Class A Trucks.
Students are required to obtain a CDL Learners’ Permit prior to registering for the Class B-P CDL Training.
"We have a fantastic group of instructors who are dedicated to helping all types of drivers obtain the proper licensure, from teens to those needing to obtain CDLs for their jobs,” said James Terry, spokesperson for Access 2 Drive. “Our top-notch instructors take the pain out of getting drivers licenses and make learning to drive various types of vehicles fun.”
