The Antidepressants Song – Reaches more than 3,500 Views on YouTube

The Antidepressants song is a little ballad about the potential effects of antidepressant drugs such as Prozac, Cymbalta and Paxil.

LOS ANGELES - July 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Antidepressants have been a subject of much controversy from their initial release onto the market to this day.  Many headline acts of violence have shown a connection with these prescriptions.

Authors such as Ann Blake-Tracy in her book “Prozac:Panacea or Pandora”, Joseph Glenmullen, MD in “Prozac Backlash” and Peter Breggin, MD, among many others have warned of the effects of antidepressant drugs.  The FDA has given these drugs their highest level “Black Box” warning for risks of suicide, aggression, panic, anxiety and increased depression.

The Antidepressants Song, while not nearly of the literary caliber as these other sources of information is another attempt at communicating a warning of very real side effects to the antidepressants.

Created with the Powtoon software with an added song track, The Antidepressants song written and animated by Meridith Berk and sung by David Lipari Jr. is a fresh way of communicating the potential dangers of this type of drug.
