Advanced Eye Care Welcomes New Doctor

AMARILLO, Texas - July 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Advanced Eye Care is pleased to welcome Dr. Salazar as the newest doctor to its practice where she will be serving patients in the Canyon and Hereford offices.

Raised in Amarillo, Dr. Salazar returned to the area to join the Advanced Eye Care team after graduating from the University of Houston College of Optometry this year. She knew she wanted to become a doctor since she was a child, and later realized that optometry was the perfect fit for her. Getting to know her patients is one of her favorite aspects of being a doctor, and doing this while protecting their vision makes her job even more enjoyable. Dr. Salazar’s goal is to treat each patient as if they were her family member. She is passionate about ocular disease and ensures her patients are treated with the best advancements in the field of optometry.

During her down time, Dr. Salazar enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and staying active by playing basketball, dancing, and running. She recently ran the Houston Half Marathon and is already training again for her next race. The Dallas Cowboys and traveling are also passions of hers, and she particularly enjoys vacations featuring beach retreats.
