Ventura County Public Works Agency Extends Deadline for Pre-Scoping Meeting Public Comments Form

VENTURA, Calif. - July 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Ventura County Public Works Agency's Watershed Protection District (VCPWA WPD) has extended the July 11 due-date originally set for the submission of public comments regarding the SCR-3 Santa Clara River Levee project pre-scoping meeting to Thursday, July 31.

To submit public comments, the public can visit VCPWA WPD’s Levee Certification website at http://vcwatershed.org/levee/ and click-on the Interactive Public Comments Form hyperlink shown to convey project feedback to VCPWA WPD online. Once comments are submitted, the public will receive an online message acknowledging receipt of comments.

The public may also submit their comments by mailing the form which may be downloaded on the website. Forms should be addressed to: Angela Bonfiglio Allen, Ventura County Watershed Protection District, 800 S Victoria Avenue, Ventura, Calif. 93009.

All public comments are valued and will be thoughtfully considered as the VCPWA WPD and the City of Oxnard work collaboratively to refine project design alternatives and select a preferred project for final design engineering work and required environmental review.
