By: MsJames Music In 2013, Ebony Ann released her debut single "Chicago Blue" in the states that also did well in Europe. She is working with Miguelli, producer at Avocado Studios, who has worked with the likes of Beyonce, Billy Joel, Sting, Al Jarreau, Janet Jackson, David Foster, Queen Latifah, Santana, Bobby Caldwell, Etta James, Maxwell and Justin Timberlake. Ebony Ann will be arranging music which pays homage to the culture, history and soul of rhythm and blues. "My musical influences are what I like to call “The Trifecta”- the Gospel, Soul/R&B, and Hip Hop genres that surrounded my upbringing." Ebony Ann has been writing for her album, spending the past year and a half hosting concerts and teaching in order to fulfill her mission. She aims to uplift and edify the art of live performance and creative expression through music. Her live performances are known in the Ventura County area for being soulful and powerful, with a keen ear for improvisation.
