Newtown's D-inked Tattoo Removal announces Free tattoo removal for breast cancer patients

SYDNEY - July 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Newtown NSW – (April 4th 2014) – D-inked Laser Tattoo Removal announces today the launch of a program to remove breast cancer radiation tattoos for free.

For many women undergoing treatment, radiation tattoos are given to make the application of their treatment as accurate as possible. However, after their treatment, they’re left with tattoos that, for many they would like removed.

“We had a breast cancer patient from RPA come in to our tattoo removal office and she was treated for free which got me thinking, 'why don't we offer it as a free service'” says Wayne Black owner of D-inked Tattoo Removal Newtown.

“We are proud to offer breast cancer survivors free breast cancer radiation tattoo removal as a small gesture to help them feel more comfortable after undergoing such invasive treatment,”

“Obviously its not for all women that have received treatment to have their tattoos removed but for those that want to get rid of the daily reminder, we'll happily treat for them for free” said Wayne.

Women who would like to take advantage of this free service need to have approval from their doctor and book an appointment at D-inked Tattoo Removal Newtown either by phone (9550 1111) or email (wayne@d-inked.com.au).
