Employment Law Attorney David C. Netzley II Rejoins Rumberger, Kirk and Caldwell

ORLANDO, Fla. - June 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell is pleased to announce David C. Netzley II has rejoined the firm as Of Counsel in Orlando. Netzley concentrates his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, as well as the host of legal issues associated with the education industry, such as: financial aid, accreditation/licensure, consumer protection, advertising/marketing, real estate, construction, torts/personal injury, corporate/commercial transactions, and insurance coverage/assessment, as well as general litigation defense, arbitration and mediation.

Netzley has more than 15 years of litigation, compliance and counseling experience both in private practice and as in-house counsel for multi-million dollar corporations with operations across the United States. After working with Rumberger from 1998-2001, he worked for several years with a national labor/employment law firm where he defended, counseled and trained employers on a wide variety of labor and employment law issues including NLRA, FLSA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, USERRA, OSHA, FCRA, etc.

Thereafter, Netzley took his talents in-house with Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., a retail grocery chain with stores across the Southeast, where he worked as Labor and Employment Counsel and continued defending, counseling and training management on various employment issues.  Additionally, during his tenure with Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., he worked closely with the Human Resources and Compliance departments in developing corporate policies and initiatives.

Most recently, Netzley served as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel for Remington College, a private, post-secondary educational institution offering diploma and degree programs online and at campuses across the country.  In this role, he managed a legal team to assist with the assortment of legal issues involved with the school group’s operations.

Netzley earned a juris doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, after earning a bachelor of science degree in advertising, with honors, from the University of Florida.
