Yuval Ran was honored by learning he was the focus of a Columbia Business School Case Study

The Case Study was entitled: Yuval Ran and Israel Credit Lines - Should a global investment management firm get behind a new Israeli finance company led by a bold entrepreneur with an impressive, but short, track record?

HOUSTON - June 27, 2014 - PRLog -- As noted on the Columbia CaseWorks website, Yuval Ran and Israel Credit Lines was the focus of a Case Study and corresponding course at the Finance and Economics Division of Columbia Business School.

Professor Beim of the Finance and Economics Division at Columbia Business School focused on answering the following business case. "A research analyst at a global investment management firm is charged with deciding whether to invest in an up-and-coming Israeli finance company, Israel Credit Lines, led by a bold entrepreneur with a short track record. The analyst's decision regarding ICL is typical of the challenge facing securities analysts in Israel: the company's stock had performed exceptionally well since being taken over by Ran, but it was difficult to ascertain whether the company's outstanding performance would continue. In this case, students analyze financial data and stock prices for Israeli Credit Lines, Israeli macroeconomic indicators, and trends in the Israeli banking industry to determine whether to invest in ICL."

Yuval Ran was impressed at being the focus of a case study, by such a prestigious university and was honored by the reference. He has been diligently working on repeating his past success and plans on being the focus of similar case studies in the years ahead.
