Aries Apparel Selects 2014-15 High School Ambassadors

PORTLAND, Ore. - June 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Leading Women’s athletic apparel, footwear and specialty gear retailer, Aries Apparel has launched an innovative “Ambassador” program with area high schools.

The “Ambassador” program is being coordinated with area Athletic Directors.  The AD’s were asked to nominate female athletes at their schools who best exemplify the characteristics of an Aries Ambassador, which include leadership, participation in either multiple sports or sport at a high level as well as commitment to academics.

Six female athletes were selected for the 2014-15 school year they are:

Aliya Mahmoud          Catlin Gabel HS          Soccer, Basketball, Track

Hannah Courtney          Catlin Gabel HS          Soccer, Basketball

Nadya Okamoto          Catlin Gabel HS          Dance, Baseball

Amanda Scott          Clackamas HS          Dance

Braanna Weber          Century HS          Cross County, Basketball, Track

Anna Laber          Central Catholic HS          Soccer, Basketball, Track

The girls selected will be a part of the first “Class” of ambassadors, and additional members will be selected to add to the first class.  The program empowers female athletes to not only represent their schools and show pride, but it also gives Aries Apparel valuable input on what female athletes want and need to succeed in their sport.
