Follow on Google News | TVS Television Network Begins to Stream 3,000 Classic Sports Events on Daily Motion.ComTVS Television Network, the fourth oldest commercial broadcast TV network in the USA, has begun transmission of it's TVS Classic Sports Network 'TVS Micro Channel' on Daily Motion.Com, with 3,000 titles to be added in the next year.
By: TVS Global Media Viewers can watch the advertising supported video on demand service at no charge on an unlimited basis. TVS began producing and distributing sports, entertainment, and music prgramming to broadcast TV stations in 1960. In 1968 TVS televised the historic 'Alcindor vs Hayes' basketball game between UCLA and Houston from the Houston Astrodome. In 1972 TVS televised the Joe Frazier-Ron Stander Heavyweight Champinship Fight. In 1973, it televised the historic USA vs. China basketball game, and then the World University Games frm Moscow. In 1974, TVS began televising the World Football League, and in 1975 IWA Wrestling, the first national wrestling presentation on TV. For three decades TVS televised major college bowl games including the Blue Bonnet Bowl, the Liberty Bowl, the Fiesta Bowl, and the Tangerine Bowl. TVS televised college basketball for 30 years, ending up in partnership with NBC in the 1980's. PBA and LPBA Bowling, AIAW Champinships, Pro Tennis, PGA and LPGA Golf, NASCAR, INDY, and Grand Prix Motor Racing, and Pro Rodeo were other staples of the TVS Television Network schedule. All of these shows will now enjoy encore performances on the TVS Classic Sports Network, within the TVS Television Network Channel on Daily Motion.Com. In all, TVS is launching 70 different 'TVS MicroChannels'. The TVS Television Network is owned by TVS Global Media, a California entertainment company. TVS produces and distributes video programming for broadcast TV stations, national cable networks, IPTV, mobile TV, and Video Download and DVD delivered Home Video. End
