Las Vegas is the type of town that many people would not see as a family-type of place, yet those who are familiar with Las Vegas beyond the strip understand that the majority of the area is dominated by suburban living and families. In addition to being an area that has a high demand for family-friendly entertainment and products, the town is small enough for "family-owned"
businesses to be welcomed with open arms. One "family-owned"
business of this type is "Jump On It Las Vegas" which specializes in the rental of bounce houses, jumpers and inflateable castles for children's parties and events. The business is owned by Randi and Steve Cey, who proudly offer their services to the Las Vegas community, and pride themselves as being valuable assets to the business climate.
"We started a bounce house rental company becuse there are a lot of children in Las Vegas, and we wanted to provide them with entertainment,"
Randi Cey stated during a recent interview. "Family-
friendly entertainment is sparse in this area, so we figured that we would do something about it." Cay and her husband run the business from their home, and pride it on being family owned and operated. "A lot of the bounce house rental companies are owned by party supply corporations, and those types of operations don't provide the kind of attention to detail and customer service that a family-owned business can," Randi stated. "When you call, it is usually me or Steve answering the phone and arranging your bounce house rental, thats important to me because we are providing a service that is important to making a child's birthday or event special. These are families that are our neighbors, so providing the best service and prices is important to us."
The Ceys take great pride in running a business that is not only located within the Las Vegas community, but also services the Las Vegas community. "Too many businesses look at Las Vegas as a place where people don't have roots, and don't treat it with respect as a family friendly place to raise kids," Cey went on to say. "We are proving them wrong with one bounce house rental at a time." We couldn't agree more, and will be bouncing with the kids at the next party.
