Seegrid Installations to Increase Significantly Due to Topco Associates Strategic Partnership

Seegrid announced its strategic partnership with Topco Associates LLC, a $12.3 billion cooperative and leader in the grocery/supermarket industry, to provide vision-guided automated guided vehicles to Topco members.

Topco member Giant Eagle, a supermarket chain, has been employing Seegrid systems for approximately five years in their retail support centers. According to Giant Eagle representatives, the use of Seegrid robots has improved dock-to-stock speed and productivity in the company’s retail support center operation. ROI was quick. They continue, “From an efficiency standpoint, we have reduced manned travel from putaway by 20-30% and increased hi-lift pallet per hour by 20%.”
