| ![]() WIFTA Member Spotlight: Emmy Award Winning Producer Jolean OlsonBy: Women In Film & Television Atlanta Olson, who focuses much of her time in the area of development and who has worked on projects for the networks such as Bravo, PBS and HGTV, is an Emmy award winning television producer. We recently caught up with her for a quick interview and got a glimpse into her world. She was very candid when it came to opening up about what has helped her continued propulsion as a professional in the entertainment industry. "Perseverance, reliability and willingness to do whatever is needed to get a job done." According to Olson, all three are key. Women In Film & Television Atlanta has been Georgia's foremost entertainment organization is support of women since 1974; Olson has been a WIFTA member for just one year but, as with most who are successful in this industry, she's jumped right in and began making the organization that works for her work for her! "WIFTA membership is a great way to network and to learn about different opportunities and approaches in Atlanta. It has enabled me to learn about facets of television I never would have experienced otherwise, and to meet so many wonderful people in the production community."
