He is part of the Tiki Monkeys team along with three other friends from school and college. The team is named after a pioneering video podcasts that they followed called Tiki Bar TV.
Over the past few weeks, the team have been busy searching for the perfect car to take them all of the 3,000 miles, however it must cost less than £400!
They have settled on a 14 year old Renault Espace with a duff clutch, flywheel, tyres and drainage. After an heroic effort by a local friendly garage she’s now up and running and slowly drying out while being turned into a Tiki bar for the journey.
Carrington said, “I am really looking forward to this adventure, we all enjoy a laugh together, I am sure we will still be laughing at the end. It is also supporting a great charity Teenage Cancer Trust”.
He concluded, “I would also like to thank data8 for their generous sponsorship of this venture.”
They have a fundraising target for the Tiki Monkeys of £4,000, so any donations you can make would be much appreciated at http://www.justgiving.com/
They will be live-tweeting their progress (signal dependent) at @TikiMonkeys2014 (https://twitter.com/
