Classic Chrome Inc. increases chrome plating capacity with new copper and nickel plating tanks

The addition of the new copper and nickel tanks will result in improved production schedules for chrome Harley wheels (http://classiccomponents.com/services/chrome/moto), custom Bagger parts (http://classiccomponents.com/services/chrome/moto) and chrome sport bike wheels. CCI’s Vice President Gary Glass said that the new tanks are also addressing CCI’s demand for chrome plating solid billet parts and aftermarket car and motorcycle wheels separate from cast products. By eliminating potential contamination and quality issues, production turnaround times will be shortened and quality will be even better than CCI’s show quality chrome.

“With the addition of these state-of-the-art plating baths, CCI’s chrome plating capacity will increase 25% to 35%,” said Glass. He added, “More importantly, these tanks will improve our industry leading quality control processes and increase filtration volume.”
