Community First Natural Life Music Festival Raises $30,000

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - May 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Natural Life is excited to announce that the Community First Natural Life Music Festival raised $30,000 for the Children’s Home Society of Florida, Buckner Division (CHS). With over 8500 attendees, the all-day music festival is Natural Life’s largest community giveback and their vision of the perfect day to spend with family and friends enjoying the little things in life.

As a thank you to friends, family and the local community, Patti Hughes, founder and CEO of Natural Life, began an arts and crafts festival for kids of all ages called “Crafternoon” in 2001. As the event continued to grow in size and popularity, Hughes’ vision to give back to the community grew into what is now a highly anticipated annual music festival in downtown Jacksonville. The event includes up-and-coming Folk Americana bands and musicians, local and healthy food vendors, and an artisan market.

“Natural Life believes in using its passion and resources to make a meaningful difference in the world” explained Patti Hughes, Founder and CEO.  “The festival is growing every year thanks to our amazing and generous sponsors, allowing us to make the festival bigger and better for the community, while continuing to give back even more to CHS.”

With the festival’s focus on giving back to the community, admission to the event is free. The festival raises funds through multi-level sponsorships; and also by giving all proceeds from the Natural Life product sample sale, Crafternoon ticket sales, and vendor participation fees. This year, in an effort to raise even more money for CHS, the Natural Life sample sale was extended beyond the festival to the Natural Life flagship store at The Avenues Mall and online at naturallife.com.

Natural Life has been giving back to the Children’s Home Society of Florida, Buckner Division since 2001 when Natural Life began Crafternoon.
