Jamaican Pastor Working in Alaska Publishes Book

April 30, 2014 - PRLog -- RINGGOLD, Ga. – Don Rodney West, an Anchorage, Alaska, resident, recently published a book titled Joy in the Night. Originally from the town of Frankfield in Clarendon, Jamaica, West has worked as an evangelist in Jamaica, Central America, China, and the United States.

The book is a collection of ten of his most popular sermons, which all reflect on the concept of finding joy in the midst of our trials. West uses humor and illustrations, along with Scripture, to present messages of hope, which he has delivered to audiences around the world.

“I wrote this book to share with readers the ministry of the spoken word that I have experienced in my travels as a missionary, which is a testimony to God’s call and guiding hand in my life,” West said.

West currently serves as the pastor of the Anchorage Community and Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Churches.
