Shahab Minassian, MD Joins PCOS Challenge to Spread Infertility Awareness

Infertility affects approximately 10% of the population and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a leading cause of female infertility.
 
ATLANTA - April 24, 2014 - PRLog -- This week on the PCOS Challenge radio show, host Sasha Ottey will interview fertility specialist, Dr. Shahab Minassian about infertility in women with PCOS, and speak about options that women have to improve their reproductive health.

Dr. Shahab Minassian is Section Chief for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Reproductive Endocrinologist. He is currently also on staff as a fertility specialist at Women's Clinic, Ltd. He has over 25 years of experience in the field and has treated thousands of patients for infertility. Dr. Minassian is former Co-Director of the nationally recognized Center for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome at Drexel and a founding member of the Androgen Excess and PCOS Society. He is an acknowledged PCOS expert with special expertise in the relationship between infertility and PCOS.
