SSR Labs Names Business Development Vice President to Executive Team

April 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Menlo Park, CA – April 21, 2014 – Scalable Systems Research Labs (SSRLabs) today announced the addition of Mark Mavroudis to the executive management team, with responsibility for all technical marketing and business development.

Mavroudis has broad experience in business development, sales and marketing, product management and engineering. Across a 30-year career with both established multinational and start-up companies, he has worked in storage systems, telecommunications, imaging, printing and enterprise SaaS.

A graduate of University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in Computer Science, Mark started his career as a software engineer. He held increasing levels of responsibility from a technical contributor to senior management roles at start-up/early stage venture-funded companies and multinational corporations, including ROLM, SuperMac Technology and Xerox. He has managed and developed relationships with many multinational corporations, while developing key strategic partnerships and revenue opportunities.

SSRLabs is developing neural net and floating-point coprocessors and related tools to accelerate compute performance while optimizing system power characteristics for data center servers and high-performance computing, including “Big Data” analysis through Hadoop and Cassandra.
