Mobile-friendly and content-rich, the new website will focus on improving usability for both ad:tech customers and the DMG Events team, with the ultimate aim of driving higher registrations.
Lab will completely re-design the ad:tech London website and give it a fresh, contemporary look-and-feel that will both appeal to the digital marketing establishment in the UK, and cater to the different visitors to the website, including exhibition visitors, conference and seminar delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers, making use of log-in zones, preference editing, and cross-sell opportunities. The new website will be built on the Drupal content management system and integrated with a number of booking systems, registration systems, and back-end databases, to ensure a seamless customer journey from start to finish.
“We are delighted to have selected Lab to help us deliver the new look and the growth we need,” said James Drake-Brockman, head of EMEA and India, Digital Marketing Division, dmg events. “The digital marketing events sector has grown significantly over the past few years, so it is important that ad:tech maintains its position at the top, and our new website will help us to do that.”
Drake-Brockman continued, “Lab really understood our brief in terms of our wish to significantly increase conversions and leads, and have the website appeal to our varied audience. With their specialism in personalisation and their experience in ensuring the website experience is tailored to each customer, we know Lab will do an amazing job, and help us make the 2014 event on 21-22 October the best show yet, making sure ad:tech continues to be the event for digital marketing.”
Chris Williams, client account director, Lab, said, “ad:tech is well-known throughout the UK and the rest of Europe as the one digital marketing event in the year that you should go to. But to maintain its position leading the pack, it is important that they have a market-leading event website that attracts the right calibre of speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, delegate, and visitor. We are thrilled to have been chosen to help ad:tech London attract more of the UK digerati to this great educational event.”
