Thousands Expected to Attend JSM Easter Campmeeting

BATON ROUGE, La. - April 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Jimmy Swaggart Ministries (JSM) will host its annual Easter Campmeeting at Family Worship Center with services beginning tonight at 7 p.m. and running day and evening sessions through Sunday morning, Apr. 20.

Evening speakers include the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart, the Rev. Donnie Swaggart, and Crossfire Youth Pastor Gabriel Swaggart. Family Worship Center Associate Pastors David Borg, Loren Larson, and Bob Cornell will minister throughout the day.

JSM hosts two annual campmeetings, one at Easter and a second at Thanksgiving. Last year, each event nearly filled the 7,000-seat sanctuary of Family Worship Center with people from various states in the U.S. and other countries.

Rev. Jimmy Swaggart attributes the growing meetings in part to the expansion of the SonLife Broadcasting Network (SBN), a 24/7 cable channel owned and operated by JSM, now in its fourth year. All of the Easter Campmeeting services will broadcast live on SBN.

“It seems like each Campmeeting is getting bigger and bigger,” Swaggart said. “And after what we saw at the last one, only the Lord knows what is going to happen this time. One thing is certain, it’s going to be a time of great rejoicing as the Spirit of God moves among the people.”
