By: nuEVaera Auto These students will present the much improved and internally revamped nuEVaera Electric Vehicle as their Capstone Project on April 25, 2014. The event will be held at the Electrical Engineering Building at the Bayamón Campus, where all five teams of the Capstone class will present their projects. The event will start at 2:00 P.M. According to the vehicle’s inventor, Alejandro Robles Rivas, these students took interest in his electric vehicle prototype after visiting him late last year in Corozal and several of them had a test drive of the vehicle. “Since then, we were in constant communications regarding the vehicle and the team asked to use the car for their upcoming and final semester”, stated Mr. Robles. He further indicated that “the most exciting aspect of this presentation is that I don’t even know 90% of the changes or adjustments made to the vehicle. I gave them full reign in changing or fixing any connections or gadgets used in the vehicle in order to appreciate their full input and knowledge of the Electrical Engineering field”. The main objective in the development of the nuEVaera Electric Vehicle, is the 100% Eco-Friendly Range Extender invention utilized. “The fact that we are part of this presentation, indicates that our ideas are real, that they have been analyzed and evaluated by this amazing group of future Electrical Engineers, affirmed Mr. Robles”.
