Sheryl is a communications professional with approximately six years of PR agency experience, three years of journalistic/reporting experience and one year of corporate communications experience. She is known for consistently garnering significant national (regional and local) publicity for clients including The Wall Street Journal, The Associated Press, Fox & Friends, CNN/Money, Reuters, the New York Times, and NBC’s the Today Show.

She has a reputation for solid researching skills, developing creative communication strategies and for writing compelling collateral; whether presentations, webinars, by-lined articles, announcements, educational brochures, e-newsletters, press releases, fact sheets, website copy or client award submissions.  She holds master’s degrees in social work and journalism.

Sheryl was a member of the Dog Writers Association of America. Sheryl completed her journalism master’s thesis on Animal Assisted Therapy. During her master’s in social work program, she conducted Animal Assisted Therapy. In 2007, her husband and she launched a pet product side business (www.petpetalpullcart.com). She volunteers at the Buddy Foundation, no-kill animal shelter in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Over the years, she has sold several super premium pet food lines. Additionally, she is the co-chair of local animal welfare organization, Countryside Animal Friends. Sheryl also enjoys singing and was in a gigging Colorado jazz, blues and rock band for three years. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Neil and her two fur kids, Asher and Lyric.
