Baltimore-based film "Raising Wolves" Premieres May 13

BALTIMORE - April 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Derrick Thomas' urban action film Raising Wolves will premiere May 13 via Redbox as part of a large-scale distribution deal coordinated by Bosko Group and Matabo Entertainment.

Following in the footsteps of David Simon’s critically acclaimed crime-dramas Homicide: Life on the Streets (1993) and the groundbreaking HBO epic The Wire (2002), Raising Wolves (2014) provides a gritty portrayal of the internal struggles of five teenagers caught up in the gun culture that has monopolized their respective culture.

While focusing on violence in the urban community, Raising Wolves also incorporates family dynamics, lesbian culture, loyalty, deception, and ultimately, survival.
