McKees Rocks senior living community welcomes administrator

PITTSBURGH - April 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Officially, Joshua Hensh is a newcomer to The Willows, an IntegraCare-owned senior living community in McKees Rocks.

     But Hensh’s new role as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Willows actually is a homecoming for the 38-year-old University of Pittsburgh graduate. Hensh previously held administrative positions at IntegraCare communities in Camp Hill and Butler.

    “Josh brings a high level of dynamic leadership and strategic thinking to The Willows,” said Eric Walker, Wexford-based IntegraCare’s Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. “His knowledge of healthcare is unparalleled for his tenure in the field. We are thrilled to have him as part of our team.”

    His career path took Hensh to a job with a major pharmaceutical company for a few years, and he was part of the staff at a Pittsburgh hospice facility. Eventually, his previous experience with IntegraCare brought Hensh to The Willows, which includes two communities, Willow Heights and The Residence at Willow Lane.

    “I missed IntegraCare, everyone I used to work with, and working with the residents and their families,” said Hensh, who joined The Willows staff in mid-March. “IntegraCare does a great job not only for their employees but for the residents and their families.”

    His position at The Willows will involve Hensh’s working with physicians at Ohio Valley General Hospital in McKees Rocks and staff at local skilled nursing facilities as they help patients make the transition to the senior living community.

    “My goal is to become a resource for physicians at OVGH and skilled nurses throughout the region,” Hensh said. “I want to make their jobs go as smoothly as possible while helping their patients adapt to our community.”
