Missouri Quilting Star Jenny Doan Coming to Cut Up and Sew

Palm Coast, FL- Cut Up and Sew will be hosting star quilter Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilting Co. on April 17^th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

“We are excited to have Jenny coming to Palm Coast to host a class,” said Susan Josey, co-owner of Cut Up and Sew. “She is very popular and I know she will have some great tips for everyone that attends her workshop,” she added.

A veteran quilter, Jenny Doan has risen to stardom in the quilting world with her YouTube tutorials. Her videos have drawn as many as a million viewers, some from as far away as South Africa. One reason they are so popular is that instead of taking weeks or months to complete a project, she cuts the amount of sewing time to as little as one day. Doan is beloved for her approachable demeanor and contagious enthusiasm for quilting. Doan and her husband live in the small town of Hamilton, MO where they run the Missouri Star Quilt Co. The five-year-old company has become the second-largest employer in this town of 1,800, its operations covering a patchwork of formerly vacant downtown buildings that include a "sleep and sew" retreat hotel.

The cost will be $19.95 on the 17^th, and there will also be a class the next day with Doan on April 18^th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for $39.95. The class will include lessons on how to make one of her favorite quilts as well as quilting tips.
