Chipman tells his readers, “If you own an iPhone 4 or higher smartphone, but also a fifth generation iPod touch or an Apple 2 or higher, you need to search and download the iOS 7.0.6 update.”  According to Apple officials, the new update fixes the security malfunction issue.  Specifically, it fixed a bug, which allowed a potentially malicious user to bypass the password of the Lock Screen.  Before the iOS 7.0.6 update hackers were able to see all information on an Iphone that wasn’t theirs.  It is not hard to imagine the type of information this opened up for hackers.
