International Hip-Hop/Pop Artist TahMac Feat. Redman Releases "Oxygen"

LOS ANGELES - March 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Hip-Hop/Pop musician/producer/entertainer TahMac has created an innovative fusion of sounds with his single “Oxygen.” Produced by Arab Jonez Beats, “Oxygen” showcases TahMac’s unique “Hip-Pop” sound, which is reflective of his previous production experience for some of the biggest superstars today. His music is also influenced by the likes of Prince, Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Salaam Remi, A Tribe Called Quest, and Pink Floyd.

This Brooklyn, NY native, London and Los Angeles based artist, first captured the ears of UK and European audiences with his 2009 hit single “Lavish Lifestyle” from his debut LP “Welcome 2 TahLand.” Where he garnered a joint venture deal with Absolute/Universal UK, for the distribution.The single was produced by Tony DeNiro and DJ Lethal (House of Pain/Limp Biskit) (featured guitar on the tracks Richie Kotzen of 80’s Glam Rock Band “Poison”). “Lavish Lifestyle” written by Tah Mac co-written by CeeLo Green and Troy Wimbley collectively known as C.A.S.H., was certified gold in the U.K. and throughout Europe. TahMac has since enjoyed various levels of success along with an ever-growing fan base by delivering action-packed touring performances across the UK, Europe and Africa, while releasing his brand of dance floor moving music and innovative creatively entertaining music visuals.

This party anthem remix features HipHop artist Redman, also well known for his collaborations with Method Man (How High), Christina Aguillera (“Dirty”), and Busta Rhymes (“What’s Happenin”) to name a few. Redman recently performed with Method Man at SXSW 2014 at the Def Jam’s 30^th Anniversary Showcase. This “Oxygen” remix collab (Tah Mac and Redman) demonstrates the fireball of energy between the two, with its infectious lyrics, catchy melodies and heavy-hitting beats.

“Oxygen” is gaining international appeal—the single will be featured in ads for the upcoming Brazilian World Cup in June 2014, and gaining international radio support from DJs in the U.K at Capital FM, BBC Radio 1 and Hitch FM , as well as Nigeria at The Beat 99.9 FM, and COOL FM 98.9, to name a few. “Oxygen” is also featured on Africa’s Soundcity Music TV, the premiere music television network, and MTV Africa.

“Oxygen” is also gaining United States success and support at Orlando Florida Power 95.3 (WPYO FM), Tampa Florida (95.7) The Beat, Tallahassee (WWLD 102.3), and Miami (Power 96).
