Supported by Tentec’s established worldwide distributor network, this latest move enables organisations to hire and use tools just when they need them, so keeping project costs low. This in turn means that contractors can provide a more cost-effective service to their customers. For engineers, they have the peace of mind that the tools they are using are in optimum condition, having been maintained by the engineers that designed and built them.
Tools available for rent include the CTST Series of topside bolt tensioners and the newly launched Compact 8 Series of subsea tools. The CTST range comprises 6 base tools covering bolt sizes from 3/4" to 4"(M16 to M100) and are designed to fit on most ANSI B16.5, ANSI B16.47 Series 1, MSS-SP44, API-6A and API-17D flanges. With the Compact-8 series, subsea engineers have a set of just 8 tensioners that are capable of tensioning over 400 different standard flanges including the new Vector/SPO Compact flanges.
Tentec offers highly competitive rental terms, with all tools arriving on site fully maintained, functioned and calibrated, where necessary.
