Over two hundred girls between the ages of 7 and 14 started their own businesses at Bizzy Girls Camps in 2013. Bizzy Girl entrepreneurs will display their companies, sell their products, and show us the charities they have started. Girls and moms will hear speakers, attend panels, workshops and various other creative activities. Teen YouTube and Nickelodeon stars will host the day’s activities and a Fashion show. Although girls gravitate towards fashion and design for their first businesses, Bizzy Girls is also committed to introducing young girls to engineering and technology, Whyville.net an award winning simulation based learning environment will be holding workshops at the fair that will teach girls how to make game apps. Whyville.net will also be launching its Bizzy Girls page on the site that will connect to entrepreneurship games and encourage girls to attend Bizzy Girls Camps.. Bizzy Girls wants to show girls that technology can be fun. How to make YouTube videos and digital music mixing will also be some of the fun technology based workshops.
