Independent Authors Team Up for Water.org

ROME, N.Y. - March 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Throughout 2014, independent authors have joined together to create the Writing for Water team, pledging a share of their earnings to water.org, the charity co-founded by Matt Damon and Pete White to bring clean water and decent santitation to communities worldwide. Different authors will participate throughout the year by donating either a fixed amount or a percentage of earnings for selected months. International mystery author Carmen Amato will track the Writing for Water team's progress in the monthly Water Diaries at http://carmenamato.net/writing-for-water/.

Current Writing for Water team members range from mystery series authors to a writer whose debut novel paints a disturbing picture of a dystopian Canada with a water supply all but destroyed by fracking.
