MALVERN, Pa. - Feb. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- David Consulting Group (http://www.davidconsultinggroup.com), a global provider of software analytics, software quality management and Agile development solutions, has announced the publication of its second anthology of IT research, “The DCG Trusted Advisor Anthology 2014 Edition (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Trusted%20Advisor%20Anthology).”

Following the popularity of its 2013 edition, the company has packaged its research reports for 2014 in both print and e-book formats, available on Amazon.  The reports in the anthology are produced via DCG’s Trusted Advisor service, a members-only forum that addresses the complex concerns IT professionals face, providing easy-to-understand research that guides decision-making and offers a competitive advantage.

“We received a lot of positive feedback and interest in last year’s edition of the anthology, from both clients and IT professionals who found the anthology to be useful in addressing some of the most common issues plaguing IT,” said Mike Harris, CEO and President of David Consulting Group. “Ultimately, our Trusted Advisor service has proven to be an invaluable forum for IT professionals to ask for help with the questions they’re facing and to receive answers to those questions that they can be confident in using in their day-to-day activities or in making strategic decisions about the future.”

The 2014 anthology is comprised of 12 research reports, written by the DCG Consulting Team, and covering a range of IT topics, such as Agile, functional metrics  and technical debt.

Sample reports in the collection include:

- How Does TMMi Work and What Does it Contain?

- How Can You Make Integration/Acceptance Testing Truly Agile?

- What is More Important: Software Quality or Productivity?

Trusted Advisor is open to all IT professionals. Members of Trusted Advisor can submit questions to a backlog, and then they have the opportunity to vote on the question that they would like to have researched that month. The question with the most votes is researched by DCG’s team of experts, resulting in a 2-5 page published report.

The e-book is available for purchase here (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3...); a print edition will be available later this year.
