Employees Honored for Years of Dedication at Wellspring: Staff Loyalty Common at Local Mental Health

BETHLEHEM, Conn. - Feb. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Wellspring, a nonprofit psychotherapeutic and educational center in Bethlehem CT, recently honored 15 employees for reaching significant milestones in their years of service, some marking as many as 25 years of employment with the organization.  Staff members gathered to celebrate the anniversaries and to recognize their years of dedication and commitment to Wellspring.

Employee loyalty is common at Wellspring as the majority of employees have been with the organization for significant milestones – many spanning decades.

“Wellspring is fortunate to have a well-trained and professional staff that possesses both the heart and mind for the work that is done here,” said HR Director, Dee Hughes.  “The commitment we see on a daily basis as well as the years of loyalty is a result of our employees sharing the values for which Wellspring stands.”

Since beginning in 1977 with fewer than 15 employees, Wellspring has grown to a staff of approximately 155, of which 70% have been with Wellspring for five years or more.  Wellspring has three employees who have been with the organization for over 30 years and three employees of over 25 years, five employees of over 20 years, 12 employees with over 15 years of service, and 19 employees with over 10 years as of this past December.  Anniversaries honored at the celebration were:

25 Years of Service:

         Ann Watson, Milieu Supervisor, Adolescent Program
         Genevieve Weaving (“Mrs. Weaving”), RN, Psychiatric Nurse, Per Diem

15 Years of Service:

         Mayda Capozzi, Executive Assistant

10 Years of Service

         Ronald Crowcroft, Milieu Counselor II
         Toni Earley, Receptionist, Per Diem
         Sarah Vogt, Behavioral Specialist II, Arch Bridge Upper School

5 Years of Service:

         Dawn Adams, Accountant
         Kellie Ahearn, Science Teacher
        Nicole Giannelli, Administrative Support Services, Outpatient
         Siobhan Kalnins, Milieu Counselor, Per Diem
         Cheryl Keyworth, Milieu Counselor Per Diem
         Toni Mosakowski, Milieu Counselor III, Children’s Program

At the end of 2014 Wellspring will honor nine additional employees for 10 years or more, including two more at 25 years.
