TamlynWrap™ Drainable Housewrap (http://www.tamlynwrap.com/) is a nonwoven polypropylene with a vapor permeable coating: Non-perforated, Will not trap moisture (water vapor) in the structure.

Extruded monofilament polypropylene spacers thermally bonded to the substrate: Non-compressible maintains drainage space, 1.5mm thickness provides 100x the drainage of flat housewraps (bulk water).

XtremeFlashing™ is an asphalt based product designed to be used in warmer climates as a multi-purpose flashing needs. Also available in synthetic butyl based product designed for any climate.

XtremeFlex™ is designed for anytime a flexible flashing could be needed, ex. window sills, arched windows, and pipe or curved openings.

Best Practice Installation
The biggest key with the installation of TamlynWrap™ (http://www.tamlynwrap.com/articles/proper-house-wrap-inst...) and Tamlyn XtremeFlashing™ is to always install in SHINGLE FASHION so installation will begin at the base of the wall and openings and move vertically.

Seam overlap will be 6” on all verticals and horizontals and 12” at corners.

Preferred method for the flashing of openings in the Modified I but most important is to properly install Tamlyn XtremeFlashing™ shingle fashion.

TamlynWrap™ Drainable Housewrap is the newest moisture management product (http://www.tamlynwrap.com/articles/selecting-the-right-ho...) from Tamlyn. This innovative product effectively eliminates excess moisture and mitigates the damaging effects of mold and rot. Its unique design removes at least 100 times more bulk water from a wall versus standard housewraps. This is achieved through the gap created by 1.5mm spacers bonded to a high performance housewrap. The difference between water-resistive barriers like housewrap and building paper  and drainable housewrap is the additional gap created by spacers, which allows moisture to drain from wall adssemblies at a faster rate. In addition, the drainage channels form an unobstructed path behind cladding, avoiding the possibility of "ponding" along siding edges with traditional barriers.
