Shrine Of Our Lady of the Island Launches Welcome Home Catholics...We've Kept the Light on For You!

MANORVILLE, N.Y. - Feb. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- The Shrine of Our Lady of the Island has kept the Light on and Welcomes Home Catholics!  As part of the Lenten Season, the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island in Manorville, NY will host a program called “Welcome Home Catholics…We’ve Kept  the Light on For You” every Saturday at 10AM and repeated Tuesdays at 7:30PM during Lent.  Facilitated by the Shrine’s Director, Father Roy Tvrdik, SMM the program is designed to help Catholics reconnect with their Catholic faith by addressing some of the issues that may have kept them away. Every week a different topic will be covered, with a different speaker.  The topics include: Week 1: Faith? Got Doubt? Maybe I’m not alone. Week 2: What’s keeping me away? Week 3: How can I belong?  I’m too busy.  Week 4:  Mass: What do I get out of it?  Week 5: Religion, Is it all the same? Week 7: The Light is on, Come on Home!
