Follow on Google News | Bastille Bad Blood, Winter TourBy: J&C Joel J&C Joel manufactured four unlined Digital Flag Knit (PTD001) drapes all measuring two metres wide with a ten metre drop. Digital Flag Knit is an IFR Polyester Trevira CS fabric and was selected for this job for its semi-transparent qualities. Will Dart, the client, required a fabric which could be lit from the front and rear as well as having good projection properties to allow lights and effects to be projected onto the material. A grey Filled Cloth (FIL002) curtain was manufactured measuring 14 metres wide by ten metres drop and was used as a backdrop for the tour, serving as a projection screen. Three black PUFC (PUF002) storage bags were also manufactured to keep the Digital Flag Knit curtains clean and safe whilst traveling on the tour. J&C Joel storage bags are available in either Canvas or PUFC and are perfect for keeping your curtains damage free and spotless. The Digital Flag Knit material brilliantly complimented the Filled Cloth backdrop and, twinned with the band’s intense and catchy music, created an unforgettable show of lights, music and eye-catching projections. ‘We always knew we were creating an unusual design in terms of visual perception. It was a real production challenge due to the different venues we would be touring. We needed a fabric that could take on multiple roles and J&C Joel produced the perfect solution, their Digital Flag Knit and a fantastic Filled Cloth for our centerpiece. Their knowledge and vast range of products gave us plenty of choice to get the desired look’ - Will Dart, Lighting Designer End
