Follow on Google News | PCM will be hosting free educational IT security lunch trainings for business ownersProfessional Computer Management is changing the way companies view managed IT services by hosting lunch trainings to promote basic IT security practices and strengthen the business community.
By: Professional Computer Management Beginning on February 28th, PCM will be hosting monthly educational lunch meetings for business owners. These meetings will cover topics such as; safe internet usage, system analysis and mapping, contingency planning, and mobile device integration. These meetings will be by invitation only, and will focus on educating business owners on current cyber threats. Lunch will be provided, along with a 15 minute training. No products or services will be pitched at any time during the lunch events. "The purpose of these lunch trainings is to educate business owners on the realities of today's IT world." said Derick Turner, senior IT consultant with PCM. "We also want to change the perception that all IT companies are made up of out-of-touch nerds. We want them to know that there is a company out there that's sincerely concerned with the damage that these cyber threats impose on our business community." Professional Computer Management has been a provider of managed IT services in Utah County, UT for nearly a decade. Lunch meetings will be limited to 20 guests each month.
