Crew reports no major difficulties so far. The x-storey facility will include 18 examination rooms, 2 special procedure rooms, 10 dental operatories, a pharmacy, laboratory, community hall, classrooms, exhibition gallery, and outdoor courtyard and garden. It's not uncommon to see curious passersby watch the construction activity with much interest as they note the progress. To them, the Shoreline clinic represents an affordable and trustworthy alternative to get health care services. They currently have to travel outside the city to get medical help. The clinic, located at 16549 Aurora Ave. N. in North King County, will offer medical, dental, behavioral health, language interpretation, financial screening and insurance enrollment help to residents in Shoreline and the Puget Sound region. Funding for this project This $18.3-million project is made possible through the Washington State Healthcare Financing Authority and ICHS funds. The International Community Health Services Foundation is running a capital campaign to help fund the construction cost of the Shoreline clinic.
