KinderGate makes use of official lists of banned sites and materials (including lists issued by the Russian Ministry of Justice) to comply with all legal requirements for Internet filtering that apply to schools. Thanks to new support for dynamic updates, dictionaries (available in English, Russian, German, Japanese and Arabic) and site databases are kept up to date.
The new version also supports Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Installing KinderGate on a cluster allows centrally managing the filtering process on multiple computers, offering the opportunity for unlimited expansion of KinderGate-based filtering solutions.
"One of our top priorities since last year has been to make our solutions compatible with platforms across the board and to implement clustering support,” commented Dmitry Kurashev, Entensys CEO. “The first product to deliver these changes was UserGate Web Filter, which implements online safety and security rules at the gateway level. And now with the third generation of KinderGate Parental Control, we have built a solid foundation with an ambitious roadmap still ahead.”
